New Youth Ministry Resource – The Truth About Sex featuring teaching with Doug Fields
Dear Youth Leader,
My oldest daughter just finished up kindergarten. Never would we have dreamed that we would be having conversations with Abby about the word “sexy.” She learned this word from a little boy in her class who thinks it’s fun to call her that. She is only six years old!
As a youth leader, you know even better than I that your students are confronted with topic of sex everywhere they turn.
The Truth About Sex is a candid and up-front discussion about sex. We are going to dive into the Biblical purpose of sex and purity while also tackling some of the temptations that are out there in our culture today. We feel it’s better to be straightforward and real so that students can talk honestly about this topic. And for those who have messed up, Doug Fields reminds us of the grace and forgiveness found in Christ.
Sex is a difficult subject to address, but it’s worth it. Our over-sexualized culture is effecting our youth and even our kindergartners.

Thank you for publishing this study—I’ve heard too many parents and Sunday school teachers claim their students aren’t dealing with these issues. I hope when my daughter is older God will give my husband and I the grace to be straightforward with her before it’s too late.
