100 Day Bible Challenge

Our men’s Bible study group from church is taking a summer break from our weekly meetings. But we don’t want that to be an excuse for not being in the Bible.

We’ve challenged each other to commit to reading the Bible for the next 100 days in a row. It doesn’t matter if we read a few verses each day, a chapter a day or read through the whole Bible over these 100 days. The point is to simply be in the Word each day.

Along the journey we are going to email each other with any compelling or challenging verses that strike us from our reading.  I have been going through The Daily Bible this year … so the summer for me will be Psalms, Proverbs, Kings, Chronicles and Song of Solomon.

100 days from now is mid-September when we would typically resume our normal weekly meetings … we’ll celebrate the end of the 100 days with a breakfast and then dive into our fall study.
