Help us with our tagline
Our ministry has been in a season of clarifying our mission and vision. It’s been exciting to discover new and fresh ways to communicate what we want to accomplish with the resources God’s given us.
The next thing we are wrestling with is a tagline. Below are a few favorites we have pulled out of a long brainstorming list.
As we consider a short phrase to serve as a tagline and promise that embodies all of our events, video resources and websites … which sounds best to you?
You may want to watch the short video below to get the essence of the mission we are on.
RightNow …
A. Bridging the gap between faith and action
B. Your Life Matters
C. Putting Faith into Action
D. Leading Our Generation to Live Courageously
E. Just Do Something

I like:
1- Putting Faith into Action
and then
2- Bridging the gap between faith and action.
My favorite is RightNow: Putting Faith into Action
It’s short and direct and I believe it’s what we want people to do, whether the are watching resources, going to a conference or those that we are coaching (whether they are stateside or abroad)
One thing I notice — RightNow’s goal is to motivate people to take action, but most of these taglines put the action on the organization. I would suggest tweaking the taglines so the call for action is on the audience. Imagine if Nike’s phrase had been “Helping people just do it.” It’s just not the same.
The exception is “Just Do Something,” which is probably my favorite — but it’s too close to the Nike example.
Some audience-oriented tweaks based on your list:
Make Life Matter
Put Faith into Action
Live Courageously
Do Something
My favorite is: Putting Faith into Action or Bridging the Gap between Faith and Action. The first is more concise but the second shows the struggle we all face in seeking to learn how to move forward. The word “between” could also be the word “from” – Bridging the Gap from faith to action.
Putting Faith Into Action
Putting Faith into Action
Make a Difference
My favorite is “Your Life Matters” BUT I really think that you need a direct ministry phrase in your tag line. Otherwise we might sound like a vague government program. Rightnow: Your Life Matters… brought to you by NBC and the creators of Lost.
So…
I think we should go with… Rightnow: Putting Faith into Action
Putting Faith Into Action
Just Do Something (a Nike knockoff? Will it be seen that way?)
I like “Putting Faith into Action” best but I’d go with three values that can be a tagline:
Faith Action Change
Faith Action Purpose
Faith Action Transformation
I think the process of putting your faith into action begins with believing that your life matters. Everyone needs to know that their life counts, that they can make a difference and impact humanity for good. My vote: Your Life Matters
Living Life!!
Bridging the gap between Faith and Action.
OR
Faith In Action
OR
Faith Is Action
From these, I like
Putting Faith in Action
or simply
Faith in Action
“Faith in Action” seems like your best bet of those mentioned. “Putting faith in action” seems awkward. Bridging the gap does too. Needs to be clear, concise, simple… and it needs to complement the work you guys have done to reach the younger generation.
All that said, if the “Traders” video is a part of the mission you guys are on, maybe you need to play around with “Trade Up” or “Live to Serve” or something that helps you guys express that missional value.
C.
“live on purpose”
(or “life on purpose”)
Lots of good voting and even some new ideas which is great too. Thanks!
Putting Faith into Action with a slight modification…
Connecting Faith and Action
or
Connect Faith:Action
I like Putting Faith into Action.
I actually really like it shortened to Faith in Action. The shorter tagline is catchier!
I also like Life with Purpose.
c
Maybe something like
Your life matters, Do something.
I tend to agree with Eric, it needs to be more about what we want them to take away from our resources and less about what we are doing.
but that’s just my humble opinion.
Or maybe
Faith = Action
I like Putting Faith into Action.
Putting Faith into Action does sound a bit awkward but it’s the essence of our mission. So I might instead say: Put Your Faith into Action
and that’s what it’s all about, right?
Thanks Brian.
I think Bridging the Gap Between Faith and Action best expresses what you guys are about. But I like the simplicity of the recommendation of Make Life Matter.
Changing the words to ‘Bridging the Gap From Faith to Action’ communicates more action than a good idea. I like that.
I also like ‘Living Your Faith (Forward)’
‘Make Life Matter’ makes me think of myself, not what I can do for others. How about ‘Living Like Others Matter’.
Bridging the gap between faith and action.
I also would like something along the lines of:
Your life matters… Act like it!
From those listed.. Rightnow…Faith into Action
a few suggestions if i am not too late on this…
Rightnow…What are you waiting for?
Rightnow.. Lives are waiting.
RightNow…Your time matters
RightNow…Becoming a Vessel
Rightnow…Raising your Faith
RightNow…Someone Needs You
RightNow…Give and it shall be given…
