One Story Changed My Life Forever
Nine years ago Julie and I were sitting in Bible study when we saw this two minute video story. That story was a key inspiration in our journey to become foster parents. The story has nothing to do with fostering, but we left Bible study that day saying, “if they can do that … then what can we do?”
Now our lives are changed as we’ve adopted one of our foster children. Authentic stories are powerful because they inspire and validate what God is doing.
A neat “bow” to wrap on this story is that we met David and Cynthia years later. We were getting to know Doug and Miranda as some new friends from church and discovered that they work at a group home for special need adults called Cornerstone Ranch. This group home was started by David and Cynthia.
