An Amazing Day with Max Lucado

We just finished up a great day of filming with Max Lucado and I needed more than 140 characters to pass along a thought.

Max is as real and down-to-earth as you can get.

It’s a cold day here in Dallas and our shoot location wasn’t exactly the warmest. But Max endured and made it fun. (Yes that is a space heater next to Max in the photo.)

He made a point to know our team. He called our team by name and asked them about their lives. (By the way, great job Phil, Dawn, Brendon and Jackie/mom and Josh)

He was so appreciative.   Here’s a guy who has sold 65 million books and is recognized as one of the most influential pastors in the country … yet he kept saying thanks to us.

We were filming for a youth and adult Bible study video series based on his upcoming book Out Live Your Life. The book and the DVD series are due out late summer.  I am also pumped that Max will part of our amazing speaking team at The RightNow Conference this November.

It was an honor to spend the day with Max (plus he is a fellow 24 fan!)
